About the Video Feed

Welcome to the Friday Night Tech live video feed.

This live feed enables you to watch the show in progress. Using multiple studio cameras and a high quality audio feed to add in you can enjoy watching us flail and act like idiots, live.

Despite having this live video feed we’re still are a radio show though. It’s not necessary to use this feed in order to enjoy what we’re really all about. That’s where our audio stream comes in.

Don’t have enough internet bandwidth? No problem for the MP3 feed. But hey, got the extra tube space? Like watching us humiliate ourselves? Enjoy.

There is an HTML5 & HLS based player above or…

Other Ways to Watch the Video Feed

  • iOS: Check out the HLS links below. QuickTime should respond upon tapping one.
  • Android: Check out the HLS links below. If your device or Android version can’t natively play HLS links, try using VLC Media Player.
  • VLC Media Player: With VLC 2.1 or later, copy desired RTMP or HLS URL below (right click), in VLC select “Media > Open Network Stream,” paste the URL, and then “Play.”
  • Google Chrome / Chromium: Neat little extension called “Native HLS Playback” lets you watch HLS URLs (URLs below) right in Chrome using it’s native player.
  • Chromecast (beta): The settings menu in the player above will include a “Cast This” button if a Chromecast is detected. If it’s missing, try giving this page a refresh. If it’s still missing, try something like this site which lets you manually instruct a Chromecast to fetch a URL (URLs listed below.) Note: You will need the Chromecast Ultra or better to handle the 1080p stream reliably.
  • Other: Chances are if it’s a device or OS that came out in the last few years, it supports either RTMP or HLS. Hit up the Googs or search around for a way to paste in stream URLs.
  • YouTube Live: A simulcast may or may not be available. Check our YouTube channel.
  • Pop-up Web Player: https://fridaynighttech.com/player
